So I’ve been watching the second season of Breaking Bad recently (saved up on the TiVo), and you know who’d make a great live-action Frank Gorman? Dean Norris. This season of BB especially he’s doing a great job of playing the blustery, kinda-fun, kinda-scary wannabe suburban alpha male, the kind of guy who always seems like he has a two-beer buzz going, but with this weird undercurrent of tension and sadness underneath. Plus just look at the dude:

I think he’s played a cop in half the things he’s been in. Yo Dean, buddy, give us a call if you want to be a star.
Of course, we’ll have to find some serious British thespian to play FELIX.

Love the comic so far! Who would have thought that so much genius could come from a triumvirate, who left to their own devices, brought us Being Erica and America’s Next Top Model! Not this country bumpkin.
I always thought of him as Eliot Stabler from Law & Order: SVU
Thanks, Cal. It is kind of hard to believe. (Though what the heck is Being Erica? Was Dave appearing in some underground videos before he became a comics superstar?)
